Fast, but shallow
Quick logging is useful, but not when the history you build gives you little context for your next decision.
MuscleMetric combines fast workout logging with the depth of long-term performance analytics—helping you plan better sessions, record what actually happened and understand how your training is progressing.
Many apps are quick to use but too shallow to provide meaningful insight, detailed but frustrating during a real workout, or filled with disconnected numbers that do not help users make their next training decision.
Quick logging is useful, but not when the history you build gives you little context for your next decision.
Deep tracking loses value if entering a set during a real workout feels like admin.
Disconnected metrics are hard to act on when they are not tied back to the plan and workout that produced them.
Core training tools are designed as one connected system—from the plan you make to the history you review later.
Set-by-set logging for reps, weight, time and distance, with rest timers, overall workout timer, clear exercise progression and interactions designed for real gym use and interruptions.
Review completed workouts by date, inspect individual exercise history, compare previous performances and keep a reliable long-term training record.
Volume, frequency and training trends, exercise-level progress, historical comparisons and clear visual feedback without unnecessary clutter.
Connect goals to training plans, automatically track measurable progress, see milestones and achievement progress, and keep long-term targets visible.
Plans become workouts. Workouts contain exercises. Exercises contain completed sets. Your history remains connected instead of becoming a collection of isolated numbers.
User data is protected and separated through secure account-level access.
Follow a session from the first tap to the progress view that changes after you finish.
Measure real behaviour → understand progress → improve the next decision.
MuscleMetric explains how its metrics are calculated and separates examples from real user data.
Progress depends on repeatedly completing useful training rather than chasing random daily scores.
A PT can switch between personal training and client management without mixing the two.
Searchable client dashboard with active, paused and former clients, goals, notes, workout history, upcoming sessions and a focused list of clients who need attention.
Designed to remain usable with approximately 45–50 active clients.
Clear booking and payment states, transparent PT earnings and a planned 1% MuscleMetric platform fee on paid client session bookings.
Payment-provider, refund and payout details are not presented as final.
MuscleMetric will help coaches identify clients who may need attention by bringing together useful signals such as missed sessions, incomplete workouts, check-in changes and stalled progress.
It should explain signals and suggest possible next actions. It must not diagnose a client or automatically make coaching decisions.
The Coach roadmap will stay clearly separated from released features.
“I created MuscleMetric because I wanted a training app that I would genuinely keep using. Too many workout trackers were either fast but shallow, or detailed enough to be useful but awkward during an actual gym session.
I wanted one place where I could build a proper training plan, record exactly what I completed and look back far enough to understand whether I was really improving.
MuscleMetric started as a way to solve that problem for my own training. It has since grown into a larger goal: building a workout product that helps people stay consistent, understand their progress and make better decisions without unnecessary complexity.
The next stage is to connect that same training experience with personal trainers—giving coaches better tools without taking control away from how they choose to coach.”
The product is evolving through real-world usage. Planned features are labelled honestly, the roadmap prioritises stability and usefulness before unnecessary expansion, metrics should be explainable, and coaches and users remain in control of decisions.
Users will be able to submit suggestions and report issues.

MuscleMetric’s core workout planning, logging, history and progress features are being made available without a paid-tier restriction.
MuscleMetric is currently available for iPhone. An Android release is not presented here as available until a verified store release exists.
Users can create and manage structured plans. MuscleMetric does not claim AI-generated workout plans as a released feature.
MuscleMetric focuses on recorded training behaviour and understandable progress trends rather than presenting uncertain readiness predictions as fact.
No. MuscleMetric Coach is part of the planned product roadmap and is not currently presented as a released feature.
Accounts are separated and access controls protect individual user data. Read the full Privacy Policy.
An in-app feedback system is planned so users can submit suggestions and report issues. Until a live feedback route is published, the website does not invent a contact endpoint.
Plan the work. Log what happened. Build a history you can actually use.
